Our story

Big Ideas Have Small Beginnings.

Hometown Collective began in Nashville, Tennessee, with a simple realization: small businesses are the backbone of our communities, yet the tools available to help them succeed are often expensive, complicated, or disconnected from the way they actually work.

Founded by Sylas Stansfield, Hometown Collective was born from the idea that running a local business should be simpler, more affordable, and more rewarding. What started as a mission to build better business management software evolved into something bigger: a connected community where independent professionals can manage their businesses, reach new customers, and grow without sacrificing their independence.

We're starting in Nashville, one trade at a time, with a vision to bring Hometown Collective to communities everywhere.
